Having problem whit this, and cloudflare hates me.

shirt, I cannot write more than 2 sentences before cloudflare stops?
Short-short version then, take 21!

Got the AC68u@376
Usb-webcam@usb@mjpg-streamer = ok
Printer@USB = 75% lost in cyberspace

Got 378
webcam lost, device does not list in console.
Printer, only 50-60% lost in cyberspace.

Why the bad performance on usb?
Plugged in my old RT56u = no problems.

And what is the problem with this forum? It took 23 tries to write this thread!

The forum isn't the issue.

Something on your computer and / or network is.

Your post is not clear at all. Exactly what version of Merlin software are you using? The current version ends in _50 for example.

Also where did you get the idea that Asus has advertised or made provisions for plugging a USB webcam into Asus router USB ports? The only devices that am aware that Asus intends to support are mass storage devices, USB hubs, and printers. You are on your own expecting anyone to care about whether or not a camera can be plugged into your router via USB.

Have no idea what you are saying, "Printer, only 50%-60% lost in cyberspace". Are you saying that you had some kind of USB printer that worked fine on some older version of Merlin software, but now it is not recognized under version _50?

No?

Forget about the webcam, running it from this guide:
https://www.asuswrt.eu/webcam-video-surveillance-via-mjpg-streamer-debian-arm/

About the printing.
Had the 376.49_5 FW and it worked ok for about a week, but really slow from hitting print on the pc to actual print.
Suddenly 75% of all print jobs ended up in a printed CPL-error or not reaching the printer at all.

Updated to 378.50_0 and now about 50% of all printing goes out in cyberspace nowhere to be seen again.

Did flash back to 376.49_5 yesterday and now it works again.
No problems with the printer, changing back to my old RT-N56U and all printing jobs work.

And today it gave up again.
Printer + Flash-drive connected, but router cannot detect them.
Reboot and now it detects it again.
Not very stable.

Have been running printer only past months.
As of now I have to reboot the router 3 times before printing one job, then rebooting 2-3 times again for the next. Windows shows the printer offline on all PCs.
Tested if the router could fly from the 7th floor. It could, for a short period.

Back to my RT-N56U and everything works again.
