Rt-AC87R 5ghz issue

I have a werid issue, my thinkpad w540 with an intel ac 7620 that is connected to the 5ghz wireless randomly freezes the connection. (tried mutiple channels and wireless adapter drivers; same result)

I use RDP to my laptop for work during the day, and it will freeze/loose connection to it every once in awhile.

When I test it, I will ping my latop constantly and notice once in awhile the latency will go up high and sometimes even time out. My RDP session becomes unresponsive for a few seconds then comes back.

If I switch it to the 2.4Ghz, it doesnt happen.

Anyone else experiencing this?

you are not alone.....I have posted in a couple of threads......I can watch a transfer (server limited) of a 5 gig file go from 40MbS.....to 0....back up to 40 ten times in the two minute transfer. I have tried multiple adapters.... bridge 66u....everything...nothing helps......hopefully next firmware due in a couple of days will fix it.
