Is there any need to make a full factory reset after the upgrade (I've got 1st AX88U as main router and 2nd AX88U as AP in AiMesh via ethernet cable).
Thank you

@gpmc not if your network and router are behaving as you expect. :)

For me, exact same problem as the 7968. All devices connected loose internet connection and you can’t connect any new device to WiFi. Even LAN connection stop working. I’m back to 7756...

I'm curious about your settings. What devices get disconnected. Updated drivers on those devices? Full factory reset after updating to this firmware?

I'm not being discourteous. I believe more detailed info is more helpful to everyone.

I have the same problems as xha1000. Works for a while then devices disconnect, also if you connect a wired device it dose not get an ip.

These details should ALWAYS be posted to get a better idea of what could be wrong:

1. From which firmware BEFORE the upgrade.
2. Did you do a FULL factory restore AFTER the upgrade?
3. How are you connected to the internet?

Pretty much: What have you done so far?

clean install from previous firmware 7968 that had no problems and 20+ days of uptime

For those experiencing connection issues did you give enough time for the AX88U to come back up and its connection to the device its connected to for WAN? For me after the update was finished it took a short time to establish connection to my cable modem. Brief look at the logs here I do not see anything glaring as an issue.

This set of logs is from 5 hrs after upgrade, for no reason WiFi was not allowing new devices and wired did not provide a DCHP.

"I am on the latest ASUS firmware. The router is still quite unstable and drops connections, loses WiFi with clients and needs to be rebooted often. I have temporarily changed back to my ac310"

@brianmsailing... I went back over your posts dating back to June 2019 which seem to me you are having the same issue with this build as you did with prior ones. It seems somewhere along the line it was resolved yet came back?

Sorry guys, I didn’t put the log because it says nothing unusual, I’ve to put it in notice mode to get more details...
but I’ve 50 devices, thermostat, light switch, tv, etc. Most of them are on the 2.4ghz. I use PPOE with vlan tagging for WAN. Router is set a OpenVPN server but nothing else.
Everything OK since 7968.
I will retry with factory reset and logging details soon...

latest logs after going back to 6436, something is still not right. Lots of BWDPI events.
