After upgrading my RT-N66U to Merlin build 3.0.0.4.376.45_0 I started seeing large and multiple file transfers over Wi-Fi fail after a few minutes and cause all connected devices to lose internet access and/or drop the connection. The router appears to lock up and requires a power cycle.
I didn't see this this issue with 374.42 and didn't have 376.44 installed long enough to confirm if the issue started with this release.
To clarify, this happens when transferring from linux based Samba shares to local NTFS files systems. As well, I upgraded from 374.42 to 376.44 and then to 376.45 a few weeks later and did not attempt any file transfers while on 376.44.
The RT-N66U reports CPU usage hovering around 50% during the transfer but the device does not seem to be overly hot.
Anyone else seeing similar issues?
