RT-N66U - FTP Service only in the local network

How can I use the FTP service on the router without it is reachable from the outside? I need the FTP service only in the local network. My Brother MFC can store data directly to an FTP server.

I installed the latest Merlin firmware.

Which latest firmware? The -em version? The non -em version? ???


Depending on the actual version you're using; the issue may already be fixed.


You can also try enabling FTP and checking to see that the ports are closed or stealth at various websites, including the following.

FTP Login is available from wan. How can i disable it???
