RT-N66U OpenVPN Server - User Limit

Hello Everyone,

I got a friend of mine using an older version of the firmware for a N66U. With the older version of firmware the user limit for 1 OpenVPN Server was 68 users.

He updated to the latest version of the firmware and the user limit was set to 16 users.

Is there anyway to increase this, aside of activating the second OpenVPN server and have additional 16 users?

If you have that many users, then you really should consider a real server. The router lacks the power to handle more than a few connections at the same time, so 60+ users seem over the top to me.

The limit can be changed, but the device is way too slow for that to be a sensical decision.

CPU is already busy with encrypted WLAN traffic.
