New Around Here
Hi all!

Ive previously owned Asus AC66U and now N66U, both being decent but not the best wifi routers I was tempted to try something else.

Transmit power adjustment is a pain especially with Asus pulling off these new firmware/cfe updates.

I just need a few router suggestions which are all above average range and which can boost transmit power beyond standard specs.

Should I attempt a Netgear router or something for once?
Thanks.

Why not just buy a AP and connect the AP to the router by CAT6 cable?
Or in this order, Netgear R7800, ASUS RT-AC88, ASUS RT-AC68P, Netgear R7000

Any FCC approved router sold in the U.S. must confirm to new regulations that lock down the firmware that controls transmit power.

So what you are asking to do is illegal. These requests are not supported on SNBForums.
