Actually, I don't think they will...

They recently have shown deep displeasure when a company actually does security right...

backdoors for cameras :O, this is becoming very much like videos where some hacker or team management is looking through cams and guiding a team through. Or perhaps the intelligence service is using everyone as a source of porn.
 
So what can you do to isolate iot devices on the network? I have heard that using the guest network isn't necessarily secure. Would running a router with a different subnet isolate it from the main network?

If possible, best thing would be to create a VLAN and put them all over there and give them their own sandbox...
