Setting dhcp-option 66 in dnsmasq.conf. It's gone after reboot.

I'm a total beginner in both adminstrating my AC-66u with CLI (with the whole Linux thing at all, really) and setting up an Asterisk server with some Cisco phones, but at the moment I'm trying both. It's a steap learning curve!

What I need to do in order for my Cisco phones to register to my FreePBX server is to set dhcp option 66 to the IP address of the FreePBX server. After reading a bit, I found that I should edit /etc/dnsmasq.conf and add
Code:
dhcp-option=66,192.168.0.105
to the file.
And I did.

But it's gone after I reboot the router! What am I missing?
I'm sure it's something basic!

Aha, thanks alot. That makes sense. :)

However, I got stuck here:
Code:
admin@RT-AC66U:/jffs# mkdir configs
admin@RT-AC66U:/jffs# mkdir: can't create directory 'configs': Read-only file sy
stem

You need to enable the JFFS2 partition then reboot. The configs directory will automatically be created once the jffs2 partition is properly mounted.

MAN, I feel slow today. I couldn't even find that with Google.

Thanks! :)
I've done so, edited the file, booting the first phone!
