As suggested in http://www.snbforums.com/threads/of...are-3-0-0-4-380-2345.31217/page-2#post-247577 I deleted traffic.db and rule.trf files.

After reboot and enabling Traffic Analyzer Statistic - rule.trf file did not get recreated automatically. So, after after some research I found place where to get it (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/ASUSWRT/WW_1130_rsa.zip) manually.

@Merlin, looks like without that file all traffic in Traffic Analyzer Statistic goes into general app category only. With this file in place I started to see different apps categories. Is this what this file for? Also, why it's not geting back "automatically"? is this a bug in some scripts?

Thanks,

PS: after lots of googling I see that RT-AC87R Traffic Analyzer is pretty buggy (it was working solid in my previous RT-N66U).

rule.trf is the database used by Trend Micro's DPI engine to classify traffic. So it's necessary for both Traffic Analyzer and Adaptive QoS.

There's a built-in database in the firmware. Updates are run once a night, so you might have to give it 24 hours until the latest one gets automatically downloaded from the update server.

Thanks for explanation. Now I only wish that ASUS sorted out those numbers in Traffic Analyzer screens to reflect correct usage values.
