Got a really weird error!!! Unlike others who had bad USB 3.0 ports... mine works fine! It's the USB 2.0 that gives me a hard time!!!
I know, AC1900 is unsupported hw... in any case I will ask, maybe somebody has seen this before or has any ideas. The USB 2.0 port was working fine when I did the CFE flashing in fact I flashed both CFE 1.0.2.1 and Merlin 384.5 firmware from it.
Anything I plug in the USB 3.0 port is recognized. A USB hdd drive formatted with EXT2, a pen drive formatted NTFS, both work just fine. No changes if I use the compatability switch for "Reducing USB 3.0 interference".
When I try the same on the USB 2.0 port, I get these errors:
Any ideas of what might be wrong? I am including as an attachment the full syslog fragment taken when I plug the USB pendrive into the 3.0 port; it gets properly recognized, then unmount, remove and switch to the USB 2.0 port where it fails as described.
Thanks for any comments!
