Some MKV files not seen by drive via router media server - AC68R

Hi I recently upgraded the hard drive attached to my AC68R router (acting as a media server) to a 4 TB WD Easystore. Most files work fine when viewing on TV, laptop, etc.

For some reason that I cannot understand, I have a few MKV files that just do not show up via the wifi media server. The files are on the HDD and show up when accessed via a computer or laptop over the media server. However, when I try to access them via any TV, tablet, etc, they are simply not there.

It is not an MKV thing either because most MKV files are fine and show up. I have checked the sourcing of the files and they are all the same. I have tried renaming the "missing" files and that does nothing. I have tried putting those files in a separate folder. The folder shows up but then when it is opened via the media server, it is empty.

Very confused. It is not a TV issue because it is the same on all TVs/tablets. I can plug the hard drive in directly to the TV and all files show up and work fine.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have the latest firmware on my router and have tried rebooting.

I will check the name of the file that's missing. change to something simple to test, say test123.

sometimes the download file with long name might have caused issue.

and if it doesn't help, I will consider convert the mkv file into mp4 and test.
