Hello everyone,
I am running several servers and NAS devices on specific ports using NAT behind an Asus RT-AC66U router running RMerl's latest firmware 3.0.0.4.376.44_beta2 as well as 2 OpenVPN server instances on the router itself and none of my servers / devices are logging the WAN source IP of inbound requests instead my router's IP address is being passed on.
My WAN ip address is assigned automatically via PPPoE so SNAT is not an option.
Is there any workaround to have the real source ip passed without being stripped by the router?
Thank you.
