Do I need to be using Spanning Tree Protocol on either of my routers? I have my AX 86U connected to my cable modem with Wi-Fi disabled. I have two wired devices connected to it. And I have my RT N66U also connected to it for Wi-Fi duties. Does STP need to be enabled on either of them or both or neither??

Thanks

You can turn it off with your configuration.

May I ask why is RT-N66U doing Wi-Fi duties when you have much better radios in AX86U?

Thanks.

Sure, all devices are streaming IoT type devices. No need. Plus I have my gaming rig on the AX which I assume is better to config that way. I could be wrong though.

Nothing wrong with it, if it works for you. RT-N66U is perhaps more compatible to IoT devices.

Why would a user want to use STP vs not? Is this configurable via the web interface?
