Speed/disconnect issues with one device... issue with router?

My gut feeling is that it's solely the device that is having issues, but if just one device is having issues with random slow speed, or a disconnect, could it indicate an issue with my router? All other devices on the network behave just fine. My N66U is running the latest merlin fork. Thanks.

Try different channels. My Zenpad's Mediatek chip doesn't seem to like channels above 153, it's perfectly stable however on channel 36.

Ran into this from another device - sourced from Japan - in 5GHz, and depending on age of the device, some channels just are not going to work...
