Stable Asuswrt-Merlin version for AC88U?

Hi guys I'm planning to update my AC88U's Asus released firmware to Asuswrt-Merlin firmware. I was wondering which version of Asuswrt-Merlin is stable for the said router?

I need SAMBA to be stable not like the latest OEM firmware that keeps disconnecting when I use that feature. Currently using 3.0.0.4.384_10007

From left column of http://asuswrt.lostrealm.ca/, that would be 384.3 .

If you can wait a bit longer, 384.4 will be out soon

I'm using version 384.4_beta3, and it is stable as a rock, with all the functions working perfectly, including Samba.

Oh one more quick question, can I still use my OEM backup config and restore it in Merlin's firmware?
