vnStat Stats per device?

Hi good people.

After I installed an SSD, it stabilized my router and everything is working perfectly fine. I have AX88U with FW-3004.388.8_4.

Due to this, I've installed dn-vnstat as well in order to monitor my usage, but the problem is that vnstat is showing me a usage of around 3.69TB in March, while traffic analyzer is showing around 620GB.

Is there a way to extract more information from vnstat to see which devices are having this higher usage? I have checked the settings but could't find anything to find that info.

Thank you in advance!

If you have hardware acceleration enabled, the results reported by vnStat may be unreliable, as described on the dn-vnstat Github page.

In this case usually it's lower than reported by other tools, the only thing I can think of without more information is that perhaps you changed the "reset" date on vnStat during the month (in which case it would continue to report aggregated use until you reach that same day of month, but the following month).

But as ColinTaylor notes, vnStat monitors only the network interface, you need packet inspection to get more than that, and for that you'd need to use the built-in tools on the router or switch hardware.
