I have running Merlin 378_55. I disable STP in the switch control page. This appears to set the nvram 'lan_stp=0'. I note, however, that even with STP disabled in the GUI nvram 'lan1_stp=1'. What does lan1_stp control?

This is a Tomato left-over, where you can configure more than one LAN. It's unused by Asuswrt AFAIK.
