Strange issue, maybe arp?

New Around Here
Hi all, I have an AC87 running 380.65_4. For a long time now, I have been experiencing random connectivity problems for devices both wired and wireless. Specifically, the wired device is an Xbox One, and the wireless devices are a Windows 10 Surface Pro, a Windows 10 Winbook Tablet, an iMac, and a MacBook Pro.

All of the symptoms seem similar, and today I made a discovery. If I connect to the network, I receive a DHCP address, and can ping my router (192.168.0.1), but I am unable to ping an external IP, such as 8.8.8.8. In some cases, if I wait long enough (minutes), I am eventually able to ping 8.8.8.8. In other cases, the connectivity to the outside world never occurs.

Today, I decided to investigate a bit, and from the command line of the router, I checked a few things. Initially, there wasn't an arp entry for the device experiencing the issue, so I pinged the device from the router, and that immediately created an arp entry and the device was now pinging to the outside world.

I tried to replicate this, and I couldn't do it exactly. I'd reboot the reboot, reboot the device, and the device would connect to the router, receive an IP address, could ping the 192.168.0.1, but could not ping the outside. However, checking the arp table, and entry existed. On a hunch, I tried to ping the device from the router, and again, immediate connectivity to the outside occurred on the device.

To me, this tells me something is getting stuck between the DHCP assignment, and the forwarding entries. It doesn't happen for all devices, only the ones listed. Also, if I use a wireless bridge to connect my iMac, the issue doesn't occur. I have done a factory reset on the router, and still the same issue. Also, this isn't directly related to this version of code, as its existed for a while now.

I have been able to reproduce this with regular success at this point.

(Host) - 192.168.0.110 can ping (gateway) 192.168.0.1
(Host) - 192.168.0.110 can not ping (Internet) 8.8.8.8

To correct, I login to the gateway and establish a ping from the gateway to the host. Everything clears.
