SWAP issue

Hi.

I have several devices connected to RT-AC68U. One of them is a printer with built-in cardreader.
After powering on the printer it is recognized as USB stick by the router and appears as /mnt/sdc

The problem is I am using USB stick connected via USB hub - the same hub is used for printer. And -depending on the sequence of powering on - the stick could be /mnt/sda and /mnt/sdc. The stick is used for swap file.

It is very inconvenient because I cannot properly set the swapon command in post-mount script.

Unfortunately Merlin firmware does not include something like udevadm utility so I cannot use names linked with device itself.

Any idea how to solve the problem?

If you give your memory stick a volume label it will always be mounted at /tmp/mnt/<label>. This would be OK if you are using a swap file, but obviously wouldn't help if you're using a swap partition.

Edit: Regarding a swap partition; Perhaps you could update the fstab with an entry that uses the partition UUID and then use "swapon -a" from your script.
