Good evening!
This typ of question has surely been asked a few hundreds of times.
But I've read the "Syno vs QNAP" article on the main site already, and looked at the charts.
Unfortunately, the Syno 3611xs isn't included and not reviewed yet
So I'm hoping someone here has asked himself the same question, and come to a decision.
Main use of the NAS:
-file server for a small office
-synchronizing backups to another NAS at another location
-media server for a few TVs
So nothing too special, there won't be a few hundred clients accessing at the same time.
Of course I'm aware that the 1079 "only" has 10 bays, instead of the 12 bay 3611.
The CPU of the 3611 is 0.2 Ghz slower, though both should be Core i3s.
If you had the choice, which would you pick, given they'd cost the same, and why?
Which software is easier to use?
Thanks for your patience.
