I can't really decide which NAS to choose:
Synology DS1512+
or
QNAP TS-569L
Both have nearly the same performance, features and drive slots for my needs. Even the price is nearly the same! 620€ vs. 635€!
The only big difference for me is the noise level.
Synology is about 25,8 dB(A)
QNAP is about 22,1 dB(A)
Do you think that the noise level does make a big difference? The station is in the same room as my TV and I would like to stream movies from the NAS...
Which one would you buy?
