I have two RT-AX86U routers at home and both of them are configured to log events to a remote server. I specify the server by numeric IP address, and I specify the default port 514.

Remote logging does not occur. If I use the router configuration web page tab System Log and press the Apply button, remote logging begins immediately.

Bad.
