Thanks

I believe that's normal DHCP activity. You should be able to turn off those log messages (if you want to) using "Advanced Settings" -> "LAN" -> "DHCP Server" -> "Log DHCP Queries", and set that to "No". Then you'll no longer see routine DHCP activities.

The direct URL for that page (for me, you can only use this if your router IP is 192.168.1.1):

http://192.168.1.1/Advanced_DHCP_Content.asp

Later on, if you have problems and need to see the messages, you can turn them back on.

The newest standard release firmware 3.0.0.4.260 does not have the option to toggle the "Log DHCP Queries". It's just not there. :(

That option is only available in Asuswrt-Merlin.

The only option with the original firmware is to upgrade to 3.0.0.4.354, which doesn't log those lower-priority messages. Or, manually set the log level to a lower priority. Over telnet:

Code:
nvram set log_level=5
nvram commit

That will however also hide some other system log entries.

You could upgrade to 3.0.0.4_270.26b firmware from RMerlin and be able to turn off those messages as I described above...In fact, I'd suggest that, seems to be the best, most stable, all-around firmware at this point.

Sorry, I haven't used firmware that doesn't have this option for some time *smile*.

Thanks everyone

Should have said I've been on 3.0.0.4.354 since its release and still getting these. I'll try RMerlins firmware as RogerSC suggests.

Thanks again all
