Tethering problem from Merlin v 374.42 and onwards

Router: RT-N66U
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4, Android 4.4

After upgrading to Merlin build 374.42 and 374.43 tethering via USB is not working any more. At least not for me.

Downgrading to 374.41 solved my issues.

Any advice how to get it going again running the latest firmware?

Probably whenever Asus releases a new firmware with source code that fixes it. I suspect we might not see any new FW until the end of July.
