Referred to as the bigger brother of the 2-bay N2810Pro, the N4810 is a 4-bay NAS that runs ThecusOS 7.0 on an Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor platform using 4 GB of RAM (expandable to 8 GB). Since the new N4810 maxes out to 40 TB of storage, additional RAID options, including RAID 5, 6, 10, are now available.

New features missing from the N2810Pro, but included with the N4810, are a 92-mm temperature controlled fan that operates at 25 Db, and a liquid crystal display that show status information and provides basic functionality.

Interfaces on the N4810 include HDMI and DisplayPort for video, SPDIF for audio, and four USB 3.0 ports including one Type-C.

The Thecus N4810 is scheduled to start shipping this coming August with an MSRP of $439.
