The W4810 is the latest addition to Thecus’ Windows Storage Server (WSS) 2012 R2 Essentials NAS series. Built for the SMB market, the W4810 is equipped with an Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor and 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and runs Microsoft Windows Server.

The feature set is targeted to small and medium businesses and inludes cloud (Azure Backup, Office 365 and Cloud) and built-in functions (Storage Spaces, Data Deduplication and Active Directory).

Storage-wise, the W4810 includes a 60 GB SSD for the OS, and offers storage of up to 40 TB in a four-bay configuration.

Ports include dual 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports, 3 A type and 1 C type USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, SPDIF and DisplayPort.

Though pricing was not mentioned, the Thecus W4810 will be shipping in early October, 2016.
