The point of this thread, is so you can flex the muscle of your wildest imagination your heart desires.

Since late 2011, I have 3 items that have vanished in to thin air. The items I have owned for at least a decade, have grown legs and are gone from my house. If you sold them on Craigslist, you wouldn't get $5 for it.

They were tucked away and out of sight in the house and in the garage. Yet I still can't find them after 3 years.

These "objects" are large enough and are definitive to stand out from a crowed of anything you have stored in your house or garage.

I think my.family members didn't give it away, as they have no clue what to do with it and they would not serve any valuable purpose if they gave it away. As I have far more valuable items sitting in plain sight.

Who wants to go first?

Your significant other probably threw it away after accidentally breaking them. Everyone in the house other than you knows about it, but won't tell.

It's either that or you should ask the guy with the hair on Alien Conspiracies. They're probably on Mars right now being worshipped or have been teleported through time by the same aliens and show up as mysterious unexplainable pictures carved into Mayan stone structures.

I highly doubt these items were broken, as you would have to take a hammer to it or throw it the window from a 3rd floor. Or climb a ladder to get of the top of the shelf just to get it.

I know, I sound crazy. Just can't wrap my head around it.

Found my casual dress shirt in the garage that I haven't seen or worn in a decade. In new condition, in a bag with close that aren't mine.

Oh well. Life moves on.

I have the opposite problem, I have stuff show up on all my just cleared and cleaned horizontal surfaces in my cellar and work area, no idea where they came from other than being deposited by someone apparently named 'not me'.... they appear over nite and I usually see them on sat or sun mornings around 7 am when I take our dog out for a walk and my morning cigar while everyone else is still asleep. The main reason I am complaining is none of it is useful for my use. Then a couple of days later it's gone and been replaced with more useless [to me] stuff...

This reminds me.of two car accidents I had. Looked both ways for few sec before driving across intersection, then as soon as I started moving I got tboned. Second time I hit a front fender of a car. Both times it happened in day light with no cars around on the road.

Now I look both ways for at least 10 sec, and I continue to look both ways until I cross an intersection.

My wife and I are frequently commenting on how today, in the US, there are large numbers of stupid or irresponsible drivers as compared to 20 years ago. Such as pulling yellow lights at high speed; right turn from left lanes, and vice-versa, distracted driving; just a general case of no fear of consequences. Then there's driving uninsured which was the case when the gardener t-boned my wife's nice car with his junker; had fake 60 day insurance, etc.

Seems to be the norm.

Few years back, we had short lived epidemic of people pulling out on to a main road in front of cars just to get insurance money.

A buddy of mine, is a cautious and slow driver. Yet when he go a ticket from a camera for not making a stop on red light as he maid a right turn. He joined online grass roots movement to remove all traffic cameras. I told him that its the same as running a stop sign.

We do have a lot bad drivers in the area, but pedestrians are far worse. They don't even look both ways before crossing the road. Its as if they are walking through a park.

In the last 2 month, I almost got hit 4 times by car drivers. Last week I had to bang on the hood of a car to get drivers attention, because he wasn't looking both ways as I was walking on a sidewalk.

K, I apologize if I'm assuming wrongly that you're married - Stevech confessed to this, but you haven't actually mentioned a wife...

But I was going to express my support for your wife, K, because it seems like this attempt of hers to drive you crazy MIGHT be a good first step! What an idea!

While I've got Hubby chained the dungeon wall (which is more often than not, thank goodness!), I should start contemplating something as insideous as 'merely driving him crazy.'

CrazIER.

I mean, he usually whines and complains about blood loss, scar tissue and unwilling organ-donor episodes (I mean - WHAT A BABY!! It's not like I've actually killed him!! NOT ONCE!)... but this idea - hiding things from him. Making him think he's going crazy!

What an idea!!
