Been having issues since Friday trying to play Battlefield 4 on PS4. After staring the game it gets stuck loading just before the options screen and if I switch to PSN menu and do a speedtest (which is fine) and switch back I see "The connection to EA Online was lost" and every time I attempt to enter any option other than single player or in game store I receive the connection was lost error however I have NO issues playing other online games.
I've contacted both EA and My ISP Charter and they're stumped. This isn't necessarily an asus issue I don't believe because if I connect my PS4 to my hotspot on my phone I can play with no issues which I just discovered last night but via my internet with charter I cannot play EA's Battlefield 4 online nor through any device or browser log into EA or Origin.com.
I've never before ran into a situation where for days everything works except one thing. EA has told me there not been any outages and I can play other PS4 games (non EA) and on any device browse any other websites.
So im looking for a way to fix this and here's what I've done and have confirmed.
I've confirmed I can play when not connected to charter such as through a hotspot.
A friend on a different ISP has had zero issues the last three days.
Pinging easo.ea.com comes back with ZERO packet loss.
Traceroute to easo.ea.com is where things get interesting. It'll time out or show up to 50% packet loss on some nodes.

From that thread:
Got disconnected from Origin around 2am, and haven't been able to reconnect.
Some friends have been able to get in in the meantime, so it seems to be a narrow issue. All ea sites load slowly, and their authentication server »accounts.ea.com doesn't connect all, which I'm guessing is the source of the problem.
I can reach »www.origin.com but I can't login. Can't seem to find anyone else having similar issues, which is surprising. »isup.me/accounts.ea.com confirms that it's not just me having this problem, though.
