Traffic Monitor - Change from KB/s to Mbps?

New Around Here
Is it possible to force Traffic Monitor to display throughput in Mbps vs KB/s? I'd prefer not to have to convert.

Any ideas? Would this require a Merlin modification?

Just to be clear what I'm asking... the Traffic Monitor reports bandwidth speeds in kilobytes per second (KB/s). Most bandwidth tests are reported in megabits per second (mbps). Most ISPs (at least in the US) sell their service in mbps.

For example, if Traffic Monitor reports 4,000 KB/s, this is equivalent to 32 mbps. (4,000 KB/s = 32,000 kbps = 32 mbps).

It would be nice to have a choice, maybe a dropdown list, that lets you choose your preferred unit of measurement.

I would like to know if this can be done too, or if there some setting i can change threw putty to do this.

The scaling is hardcoded in several places in the code. It's relatively easy to change without selection, adding the selection is tougher since some of the code is in .svg files.

Having said that, it is an available option in my 374.43 fork. :)

No I didn't unfortunately. I am no longer using this router as my primary.
