Transcoding NAS

Are there any NAS out there equipped with the be Haswell CPU. I would live to see a manufacturer have this option

Not interested in DIY route? with i5 or i7 CPUs.

Wouldn't mind a DIY however I wanted the synology software if possible

B4 you decide, if not in a hurry, spend some time lurking on Synology forum, Linux community, QNAP forum gathering info. You'll get some useful info. I use Synology
DS713+ w/exp. box. I don't have transcoding requirement yet.

Most advise here is to do transcoding non-real time on a hot PC, store the results on the NAS.
