Installed: the 'advance method' adblock procedure:

http://www.snbforums.com/threads/adblocking-with-combined-hosts-file.15309/

The router log indicates:

Dec 23 13:05:49 dnsmasq[8541]: read /tmp/mnt/sda1/hosts/hosts.blocked - 73807 addresses

Router and PCs were rebooted. Router indicates:

root@ECHO:/tmp/home/root# grep 'adxpansion.com' /tmp/mnt/sda1/hosts/hosts.blocked

I believe (please correct if this is not true) that Adblock is working correctly because the adxpansion.com is resolved to 0.0.0.0

From a Windows box: pinging adxpansion.com:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>ipconfig /flushdns
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>ping adxpansion.com
Pinging adxpansion.com [66.152.78.141] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 66.152.78.141: bytes=32 time=69ms TTL=46

Why is adxpansion.com resolved to 66.152.78.141 and not 0.0.0.0?

Changed: Advanced Setings => WAN => Internet Connection => WAN DNS Setting => Connect to DNS Server automatically=YES Rebooted router and rebooted Windows box and observed the same name resolution results.

Actionable suggestions / diagnostic questions are appreciated. Thank you
