Make sure you do update your endpoint IP, either using the DDNS or a custom wan-start script - that's how I do it, and that you have WAN Ping allowed (this is a requirement from HE).

ip is updated and the ddyns updater is working
allow ping is enabled
I also tried disabling the firewall completely and turning off Cut though forwarding
nada
http://test-ipv6.com/
is not even showing that I have a ipv6 address

I just re-enabled by tunnel, and it works fine here. Traceroute to ipv6.google.com from my Win 8.1 PC:

Code:
Tracing route to ipv6.l.google.com [2607:f8b0:4002:c07::8b]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

As I said, I did my test from my Windows PC, not from my router.

If you can do it only from the router, then something on your PC is causing the issue. Either it's not properly listening to RA, or you have some firewall rules in place blocking the traffic.

ok I got it fixed it was ASUS's ROG GamerFirst II packet-shaping Utility(which is based on Cfos)
why I didn't think of that I don't know
everything is well now

ok so I got everybody to play nice
here is what I did in the cfos/gamerfirst II options make sure you do the following
1.uncheck strict RTP Checks
2.check not operative

Does anyone have any experience in setting this up when the Asus router is behind another router (cable modem) ?

I've set this up before on an older router, but then the cable router was in bridge mode, now the ISP put it into router mode, so I'm not sure how to set this up anymore...

*Edit: I figured out that the cable modem was blocking ICMP. After removing the "Block ICMP" setting, everything started working as normal.
