Hey all,
I am trying to figure out if the following setup will work. We support an Orphanage in South Africa. Recently they have had a rash of break-ins and were asking about setting up security cameras. It is a large area and hard-wiring them would be almost impossible. They currently get their WiFi from a Rain , "The 101" 5G router . I was going to buy a couple of Ubiquiti NanoStation M2's AirMax . One of them I would connect to the Network port of the 101, mount it on a pole and point it toward the main buildings. Then I would mount several Eufy WiFi S340 cameras in strategic locations.
I would install the other Nanostation at the main building, run a cable down into a router for them to get WiFi.
Question: Would the S340's (2.4 GHz) be able to use the signal being pumped out by the NanoStation M2 or does it have to go through the receiving M2?
Thanks in advance
