TV is a Vizio 55P - C1
Am using Vizio's Smartcast program on the provided tablet. The attached pic indicates that the tablet and display are connected.
Doing the "Test Connection" within the Smartcast utility, getting message:
Connected to: csis_mble.....
Signal strength RSS -38 db
DNS: FAILED
NTP: FAILED
When connected with Ethernet cable, at the switch end, the led is amber. At the tv end, it flashes green. Unable to connect via Ethernet or wifi.
Everything goes well throughout the setup. The display indicates it's connected to the tablet, and the Internet, it checks for updates, then the screen goes blank, and a message pops up: "Network Connection Lost."
I've been trying to get this thing going for nearly 2 weeks. They sent out a replacement set, but getting the same results.
Spoke with Vizio support and they say it's an ISP problem.
