Unable to download latest firmware for RT-AXE7800 3.0.0.4.388_25144

Unable to download the latest firmware 3.0.0.4.388_25144 shown on the product support page. Weirdly, the link of the download button is https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/RT-AXE7800/FW_TUF_AX5400_300438824206.zip?model=RT-AXE7800 . It makes no sense and this file failed to update my router. Anyone knows where to find the real file for RT_AXE7800? (the check firmware on the router's page only shows 3.0.0.4.388_25142 that cause connection problems with IoT plugs, thermostats and cameras)

This is a zip file that needs to be extracted before uploading to the router. Did you unzip it? Also the router should be able to check for updates and upgrade the firmware. If you have the Asus router app it should be easier.

The link is downloading the wrong firmware (wrong model). It shouldn't be too long before asus notice and correct the link. Having said that it's the weekend.
You could send them an email, let them know.
