Update scripts.

Hello, is it possible
update startup scripts "jffs/scripts" without rebooting the router?
Yes, you can UPDATE the scripts anytime (e.g. via vi or nano editor) and you can EXECUTE the scripts anytime manually (./script-name).

But: As the startup-scripts are meant to set things AT STARTUP you might not get the results you want.

With kind regards
Joe

We did not understand each other.
I do not want to edit script files.
I want to update scripts without rebooting the router.

Sorry, but your question is not clear (I read it the same way as @joegreat)

Please give an example of what you are trying to accomplish.

I need to add another rule to the script: "nat-start".
Then update the system without a reboot of the router.
I think this is clear.

Now it is :)

Enter the command
service restart_firewall

Answer can change, depending on which script you modify.
