I just bought a RT AC66U and am facing problems from day 1....
Most problems got fixed after flashing Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 except a nasty one.
I am using a ZTE USB EVDO modem connected to the USB port of the RT AC66U as my ONLY Internet connection.(RT AC66U WAN Port is not connected to anything)
Now the Asus Router bootsup fine and connects to the internet. I can then surf the internet from my LAN or WIFI computers but after abt 30 minutes or so i am unable to connect to the internet from any LAN/WIFI computer. In the Asus Config page it shows that i am connected to internet but on all local computers a Triangle is shown on the Network icon in taskbar.

bcrelay[359]: ignored ENOBUFS from sendto(), temporary shortage of buffer memory
The above message is repeatedly shown in the router log

Is it because the 3G/4G setting is set to 3G/4G Backup mode

Here is the Detailed Log

Hope someone can fix this

Can anyone tell me how i can disable to WAN port and make the USB 3G/4G Modem the only WAN connection

@izzner

go to -> WAN -> Dual WAN -> Primary WAN (choose USB)
disable DualWAN and try again

full factory reset before trying this out, just to make sure there is no old config left somewhere in order to prevent issues

unfortunately doesn't work for me...

my connection works for few minutes, and then stops, for example internet radio stops, and when I play again it works again for few minutes... tried with tp link MR4320 and it works fine, but not asus

USB Modem is Huawei E3372. I tried with Alcatel One Touch L850V, same problem

Never got my E3372h to work with my devices :D

Very interesting! That would be really cool if the USB stick would finally work :D
