USB Thumb Drive not Recognized

Hello,

I'm using an RT-AC66U router with Merlin's awesome firmware. I want to use a thumb drive to save my traffic monitoring statistics. However, any thumb drive (or external disk for that matter) that I plug in to the USB ports is not recognized. I've checked the router logs and there is no mention at all of any device being plugged in. I can see the usage light on the thumb drive that shows it is at least receiving power. I've also formatted the thumb drive as FAT32 and it is recognized by both my Windows PC and Mac.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks,
Brian
