New Around Here
Hello,

I Have an AC68U. Tonight I have plugged a usb key, installed entware, nano, all was fine.
But after rebooting my router, It doesn't seem to detect the key. The green usb logo is off in the web interface and fdisk - l doesn't list my key.

The last entries of the syslog are :
Jan 18 23:38:31 kernel: csw_retry 100
Jan 18 23:38:32 kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:00:0c.0: Failed to enable MSI-X
Jan 18 23:38:32 kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:00:0c.0: failed to allocate MSI entry
Jan 18 23:38:32 kernel: usb usb1: No SuperSpeed endpoint companion for config 1 interface 0 altsetting 0 ep 129: using minimum values
Jan 18 23:38:34 disk_monitor: Finish
Jan 18 23:38:35 disk monitor: be idle
Jan 18 23:39:01 admin: Could not start Entware

The key is a 16GB USB3 formated as EXT4 plugged on the USB3 Port.
Any advice ?

Thanks for your help.

What firmware are you running? What USB key?

Hello,
Thanks for your response, the key is a Sandisk Ultra Fit 16Gb (SDCZ43-016G-G46).
The fw is 380.57

Thought so (Sandisk USB key).

Seems like a lot of issues with those brands and the latest firmware you're running.

The only suggestion is to try either john9527's or hggomes' firmware forks of RMerlin's firmware or roll back to RMerlin 378.56_2. With the last suggest probably giving you the best chance of success with no testing needed.

Ok, thanks for your advices, for now I have plugged the key on the USB2 port and all is working fine. I will try your suggestions later when a factory reset willl be needed.
Do you have some advices for the brand of the usb key ?

FYI....I just tried a Sandisk Ultra_Fit 64G in the USB3 port on my fork (on an AC68P). Works fine hotplugging and after a reboot.
