Verbose log files for WAN connectivity and syslog

New Around Here
Hi, recently I have some problems with my RT-AC3200 - my internet access from the Windows PC or notebooks hanged and I had to reboot my router. When I SSH into the router, I realised that there are very few logs to help me troubleshoot. I also notice that the syslog has very little info. So my question is:
1) Is there some kind of log for the WAN connection or interface?
2) Is there a configure setting to enable a more verbose syslog?
3) In addition, I want to be able to monitor internet access for my devices, is there a log file I can refer to?
Will appreciate any advice. Thanks!
