VPN 2 Devices Ipsec HELP!

I am trying to add VPN to my home network to have access to my office. I currently run a Netgear nighthawk with wrt and i need to introduce a Linksys LRT214. I do use a office phone at my house that runs through IP ( NEC ) and due to that and speed we are trying to use IPsec.

As of now my entire network inside my house works great i have AP (WNDR4500 Wired) and about 14 or so devices all routed through the nighthawk. I stream tons of media around the house and all the speeds are important to me.
I have set up the LRT214 with IPsec to connect to the office and I am able to get this to work no problem running my pc and my phone.

Now the issue is my work is 10.1.2.x (VPN)and my home is 10.1.8.x (Home Network) and i can only get one at a time sucessfully working.

What i really would like:
add the VPN inside the network and have it route or pass through the nighthawk
I cant actually get anyway to work and I am not married to the IP scheme but the one for VPN can not change. I would really appreciate some guidance or help and even a better solution that can get me a working set up that will best serve my need for speed. I am open any suggestion that gets me there.

I have watched more then a few video and read numerous articles on VPN but its really not my cup of tea and i might have already seen or read my solution but it probably wized right over my head.

Do you want to be able to access your office network from anywhere on your home network seamlessly?

The IP schemes are different, so that part is actually fine. What I'd like to know is how do you have them both wired in relation to your Internet connection?

I suggest:

ISP Modem => LRT => NightHawk => AP's, Devices, Computers

This can change depending on whether or not you want IP separation from your home network.

Also if you can get more than one Public IP Address from your ISP you could put the NighHawk onto the LRT DMZ port with it's own Public IP.

That's exactly what I'd recommend as well.

If you can get a second IP, there's a lot of different things you can do from setting up completely separate networks (each router on own IP), and more.
