VPN Client -1(infinite)

New Around Here
What does the -1 mean on the VPN client reconnect retry, do it mean that it will infinitely try to reconnect with 0 wait or does it mean that it will wait indefinitely until you manually reconnect it?

This controls the resolv-retry parameter in OpenVPN.

--resolv-retry n
If hostname resolve fails for --remote, retry resolve for n seconds before failing.

Set n to "infinite" to retry indefinitely.

By default, --resolv-retry infinite is enabled. You can disable by setting n=0.

I see it might not be an intuitive parameter - I also expected it to behave differently. It handles resolv failure, not connection failures.
