VPN client in AP mode

New Around Here
Hello,

I have an RT-AC66U_B1 with firmware version 384.17.

I recall somebody was claiming that a VPN client can be configured in AP mode via user script. I cannot find those scripts though. Can anybody help?

What I am trying to achieve is a single network segment where specific IPs go through VPN. I can do that by using policy-based routing when the Asus router sits behind my ISP router (LAN-to-WAN) and manages its own network segment. However I'd like to have a single network segment (without letting go of my ISP router).

Thanks a lot!

Even if you went to the trouble of making the VPN client run on the AP there would be no way it could force client a to use it. In AP mode the client's traffic goes directly to its default gateway (your ISP router). To make the traffic go via the VPN you would have to create static routes and policy rules on the ISP router.
