VPN client problem

Hi,

I recently updated to version 380.57, which went well. I did have a problem with accessing the VPN client tab This turned out to be a problem with Firefox and I am now using Opera (or Firefox under Linux Mint) perfectly well.

But, while trying to sort it out, I did something stupid. I pasted the certificate authority into the client certificate field for one of my VPN clients. Although I later went back and deleted it, and saved the changes, every time I try to turn this client on it fails and when I go back into "Content modification of Keys & Certificates" after the failure, the key is back in the client certificate field.

I didn't modify another of my clients and I can turn this on. But I would like to be able to use both clients as they are in different countries.

Anybody go any ideas? Many thanks.

After you hit save on the "Content modification...." page, you also have to hit Apply on the main VPN page.

I hit save and apply and then when I look in the keys and certificates the client certificate field is filled in again. It looks like it is not saving properly.

I have solved it, but I don't know how. I set up client 3 exactly as client 1 and it worked. But client 1 still doesn't. I can't see any difference, but I know there must be one. For the moment that is an adequate solution.

i have /had the same Problem ...
i tried many times, then it works ...
The Problem is, which you should check, that in my case the deactivated VPN Client 1 blocked also WAN Access when i was using only VPN Client 1. i recognized it in the log file ...
