VPN Servers tab Disconnected, and Can't Access IP Camera with OpenVPN

EDIT: Figured it out. My fault, should have experimented more before posting. In case anyone's wondering, need to switch to static IP in the IP Camera's admin page (instead of obtain IP from DHCP). Got it working with the OWLR app too. For the Disconnected status in Merlin's OpenVPN Servers tab, I didn't have username and password checked. Doing so, and logging in with credentials, it now shows connected.

Hey, this is a pretty specific question, but I have a few Foscam IP cameras that I view remotely. Currently on the latest Merlin build on my AC3200. I have set up port-forwarding and I can access them through both the Foscam App, and the OWLR app on my iOS device. For the actual camera settings, I have uPnP / P2P / DDNS off, and Obtain IP from DHCP on.

I set up OpenVPN as a Server on my router, and I can connect to it; however, the cameras are no longer accessible in either of the two apps. I read somewhere that I need to check the box for "Direct clients to redirect internet traffic." Upon doing so, they both don't work, but a random iOS app called IP Cam Viewer Lite does work.

Any idea why those two apps (Foscam and OWLR) wouldn't be able to access the cameras?

Also, in the ASUS-Merlin settings, even though my phone says it's connected, the OpenVPN Servers tab shows "Disconnected," but the VPN Status page shows one client connected.
