New Around Here
I live in France for part of the year and would like to be able to use BBC IPlayer via my freesat box when I am there.

I can currently watch IPlayer on a PC using a VPN connection, but it means I cannot connect to some french specific apps whilst the VPN is running.

What I would like to do is have a running VPN connection on the PC, route the internet connection from the Freesat box via this connection, but maintain the internet connection on the PC to my french internet connection outside of the VPN. Is this possible...so far I have failed to manage it.

I have a router (Linksys RVS4000) that can manage VPN Tunneling but seems not to be able to act as VPN client (which would also solve my problem).

Any ideas??

If your FreeSat box has the ability to specify a proxy, you could do this without requiring a VPN.
