VyprVPN setup on Asus RT-AC87U with Merlin 380.65_4

I need some help. I am trying to setup VyprVPN on an Asus RT-AC87U router with AsusWRT-Merlin 380.65_4 firmware. Every time I complete an upload of the.ovpn file, the screen flickers and I lose all information keyed in. If I re-enter all required information and after the completion of the upload of the .ovpn file the same flicker occurs. Any ideas?

What information are you losing? When I upload the ovpn file from my VPN provider it automatically loads all the fields and selects the options. All I have to do is turn the service state to ON and click apply at the bottom of the page.

I have to re-enter my login and password. I then upload the .ovpn file. When the upload is shown as complete the screen flickers and the .ovpn file and login credentials disappear. This happens every time. Perhaps I should try the latest Merlin beta or return to the standard AsusWRT firmware.
