hi, is your mtu set for 1500 instead of the typical pppoe 1492? do you know if your dsl uses pppoe?

are you in a double nat?

Fail to connect with some issues.........is normal. I get that every time with At&T dsl and its never been a problem. Just don't look at your log and you'll be fine. ;)

How do i check if i am in double nat. i am using Primus DSL Modem THOMSON ST516 that my router connects to.

I never had to reboot my router twice a day when i was using dsl until today.

under tools > run cmd

execute the commands:

ifconfig eth1 mtu 1492 up
ifconfig eth2 mtu 1492 up
ifconfig br0 mtu 1492 up

if you reboot or apply any changes to the router, this modification will disappear. try running with it for a while and see if the problems disappear

[edit/] you do not appear to be double nat'ed

i tried it all but it was dropping WAN every 10 minutes.
finally i restored the Firmware and reset to Factory settings. Now it is stable.

somewhere something went wrong. in the last week, i tried to initial dual wan with start.ca cable and the exercise was not fruitful. there are other threads i opened on it. i will continue with the start.ca dual wan experiment next week.
