New Around Here
Howdy Folks,
I just got my Asus RT-AC68U in today and flashed to the latest Asus firmware then to the latest release of AsusWRT-Merlin (which was released yesterday). Everything seemed okay, I configured the basic Wi-Fi stuff, configured the AC68U to have an IP that matched my local network, but hadn't yet completed all configuration when I decided to go ahead and enable SSH and change the password. Turns out, the password I generated in my password manager was too long but I wasn't warned about this, and it got truncated. I figured out what it is, but too late, as I attempted a hardware reset and now it's borked.
Methods by which I've attempted to hard reset:
30-30-30
Reset Button for 5 seconds (just reboots)
WPS button reset as listed on the AsusWRT-Merlin wiki
None of these have any effect, the router always boots in the same state. I have working SSH access, but the WebUI is inaccessible from both HTTP and HTTPS.
How do I hard reset this so I can start completely fresh?
